SEO team on the move again
The joys of running a company and working from an old building!
Many clients are (nicely) surprised when they visit Bronco for a meeting with Dave & I and the SEO team, to find that we don’t work out of flashy city centre offices, and that we are very at home in an old building with high ceilings, original features, stripped pine doors, windows with no double glazing, but spec’ed up to the hilt. The benefits of our old building is its prime location, walking distance from the centre of town, a short walk from Ripon Cathedral, lots of parking and fresh air all around.
But when we decide that we need to move the office space around to accomodate more staff, we are always faced with the task of running more networking points and phone points. We are in the process of moving the SEO team from upstairs to downstairs, which in turn means us having to relocate the meeting room too…. plus creating a dedicated conference call room. In true Northern style we all muck in and get the job done, from painting and decorating, to laying cables, to moving furniture and computers. Luckily we have a very multi skilled team in house!
Dave & I keep talking about moving the company into a purpose built office building .. but once we get settled again we’ll realise what we have is just right.

…what you have is just right.
I’m a Brit living in the US and have done business, worked at and hated “purpose built” business centers – stay where you are with a bit of character.
If I was back in England I’d have an old place on the Barbican in Plymouth complete with seagull poo and the waft of fish around the building.
America is pretty characterless in this department – except San Francisco.
Say no to Dockers!

I’d suggest staying too. No point moving if all will work out well with a quick shuffle around. About 15 years ago I did a work placement in a listed building over in Ilkley and loved the stupidly high ceilings and grand entrance. It was nice being in a quiet place too.
