You may not have embraced Google+ yet but even if you aren't fully immersed in all its glory yet, it doesn't mean you can't benefit from it.
Despite popular believe that it's a ghost town Google+ is turning out to be a good traffic driver for Dave's blog with it creeping up behind FaceBook (Twitter isn't a fair comparison simply due to Dave & Becky's authority within those networks).
Google+ provides a couple of nice features that can be used to get your content in front of the right audience; you are able to share directly with your circles, so for example, I might want to share a post I have written with my SEO circle and G+ gives me the option to notify these users by email. Possibly a little spammy but ok if you are an active user and you have some kind of rapport going on.
If you're not really active then you can take advantage of # tagging, this works the same as twitter but you're not restricted by 140 characters so you can potentially target more streams. You can also share direct with communities so once you have written a post you can search and join the relevant community then go back to your post and use the g+1 share button to send it on its merry way.
As you can see it's a pretty easy way to target your potential audience, ignoring my poorly constructed, hash-tag filled status of course – but you get the idea.
