For buying links?

Maybe it’s time to replace “Do no Evil” with “Do as we say, not as we do”.

I bet you they somehow avoid the link penalisation algorithm!

    Penalized by who, themselves?

It really doesn’t matter does it (purely from a SEO perspective), since the objective of the marketing campaign is not a SEO one surely they do not need to abide by any search engines’ guidelines. They’re guidelines not the law.

From a moral perspective though… lol

[...] berita Google.co.jp membeli paid links ini diketahui oleh pihak Google sendiri, ramai di kalangan mereka di dalam industri SEM sudah mula mempersoalkan tindakan Google Jepun [...]

A search for “google” on the .com shows (for me) google.jp is nowhere to be found in the first 200 results, with lots of third party sites in the rankings along with the google properties you’d expect.

Hats off to SQ…pretty bold statement to make.

Pretty cool that google is doing SEO on them self. Might be a funny job.

A:”I work at google. I do Search Engine Optimization”.
    Q “To make google better?”.
A: “No, so we rank higher in SERPs!”
