This afternoon I’ve been doing some Research around Zone Alarm affiliates and have come across what I feel like is the most immoral thing I’ve seen on Google in a long time. I’m disappointed that the Search Engine we’ve all come to love and trust to deliver top quality and relative results is allowing this kind of thing to take place.

I noticed this site that promises to help reset your Bios Password:

They charge £1.50 per minute for the telephone calls, ok so not so bad however what happens if you change the 31 in the URL to 30.. Oh look, its now “Hotmail Sign in assistance”. There are literally hundreds of terms they are bidding in, promising to help with resetting your password.

At this point I was a little shocked, the number doesn’t even change between targets so I doubt they can immediately provide you with any relevant information.

I then used Daves SEO Tool for Firefox and looked at what other sites they were hosting on the same server, to my amazement we’ve got Auction Helpline, Benefits Helpline, Consumer Advice Helpline, CV Helpline, iHelpline, Motoring Helpline and the Phone Helpline.

Holy cow! Come on Google..
