I’m a Strikepoint addict and webmaster from Cardiff, Wales. Not much of an SEO, and if I was I’d be fairly whitehat. However, I really enjoy listening to all the WMR shows and have suddenly got a burgeoning RSS folder thanks to discovering webmaster radio and all you guys and your feeds.
I’ve been working on web stuff for Aunty, but will be voluntarily redundent from next week, and seeing if I can make my amateurish web publishing empire sustain me.
I’ve never used a NoFollow in my life. Nor will I.
Keep up the good work DaveN and the rest of WMR, the shows are the bollocks.

I’m Dutch and active as an SEO. You’ve been in my RSS reader for ages, don’t know why exactly. Probably because of a forum or some other dude that told me you were really cool ;-)
I live in Southern California and I’m an aspiring SEO. Also a Webmaster World junkie…. you are one funny man Dave. ^_^

Hi Dave - I’m Adam Christie, a new reader, and I guess I’m an SEO too. Based in Crieff, Scotland. I’ve no idea how I stumbled upon your blog but it made my reading list right away, and with it being UK based too it’s a bonus. Cheers.
I’ve been reading your feed for months. I can’t remember how I found it. Maybe I just mistyped “Dilbert.” I don’t know. :)
I’m in Columbus, Ohio, US. I work in Internet marketing. See you in the funny pages! *grin*
I’m from Minnesota and live in the Twin Cities. My day job consists of Marketing for a large internet retailer. My side job consists of Web Design and SEO (my site is in the works). Enjoy listening to you guys Greg, SEGuru, and that spammer Shoe$. It’s a nice way to keep in touch with an industry that I still find exciting but don’t operate in. I’d throw in a URL but there’s no link love! :(
Rich
I’m a spammer in London
Heh, I am a moderator over at SearchEngineForums.com, and a frequent poster at WMW, as well as at 3 or 4 other forums. I am right on the south coast in the UK.
Recommended reading by your mate Peter up in Chesterfield. Also took a look after Matt Cutts kept on rabbiting on about you on his blog.
I enjoyed the Site Clinic and Site ECG sessions at SES London a few weeks ago. Nothing gets past you guys. Great to see the spam site busted wide open for all to see. Those guys didn’t know what hit them.
Whoops missed that spammer JasonD off the list! Sorry J
Hi Dave - I’m MG, aka Scott from Edinburgh - been following yer blog for a while now after catching many a TW / WmW / SEW post. Been a forum junkie for years since I started in SEO.
Used to work agency side, now freelance (link building and copywriting mainly).
I am a web designer and an amateur SEO from Leicester. I heard you talk at SES London and alot of what you said made a whole lot of sense to me so I hit your blog for more words of wisdom.
“Introduce yourself” DaveN style LOL - you sure are a master of increasing your blog’s comment count ;-) Well I’m an SEO whatever that means and I first heard about you and your blog from I think either Threadwatch or Aaron… can’t remember now

I do not remember the first time I read you DaveN, but it must have been at least a few years by now.
Like IrishWonder says, I don’t know where the link-bait was stronger, but I think it might have actually been over at Rand’s site that made me start to check your blog on a regular basis.
Hey Dave, we met at PubCon London a couple of years back.
I’m from an Israeli Interactive Agency.
Also, heard your session at SES London few weeks ago.
If you recall, i sat next to you at the Jury’s Inn whilst you where having drinks with a couple of acquaintances.
Cheers,
Ron
Hey Dave -
I run mostly travel sites and met you at New Orleans Pubcon last June. Was sorry not to see you at Las Vegas and Boston Pubcons but I guess Danny treats you better than Brent? Hope to buy you some beers or a nice dinner sometime.
You have been in my feeds for a few months now. I am a SEO from Canada, Montreal more precisely.
I don’t believe in hats, though I would be considered “white” by my clients, but I prefer reading sites from gray and black hat SEOs… hence why I don’t believe in hats.
Anne-Marie
I began learning about SEO after I started making money through MySpace ( go ahead and laugh if you want ) lol
I went to SES in Chicago last December and sat in on all of your sessions and have read your blog ever since. Now I just spend my time making tons of cash with MySpace sites and hustlin’ ringtones!
I can’t remember who, but a blogger of SEO importance refused to give you a link saying that they didn’t want to support you. Faster than you can say reverse psychology, I went looking for your site. As a result, I’ve been a regular for the last 6 months.
Dave - Just an insomniac in Phoenix, AZ. We have spent a few nights drinking at bars in San Jose and New York.
Had a great time at Spamalot. The “crimson headed peasant” was classic and likely something I won’t soon forget.
I was searching for porn and now a little dissappointed.
Hello Dave… this is Manish Pandey… hope you remember… Well I had been following all kind of SEO stuffs… I am there in the WMR, DP, V7N… and now we have our own forums at Webmaster Forums well I have a blog too called the Manish’s Internet Marketing Blog when time just visit there and add your feed back…

Hey Dave,
Pete from Brisbane Australia here. I work in online marketing and SEO.
I’ve been following your blog for a while and really enjoy (and get alot of benefit out of) listening to strikepoint and webmaster radio.
You and the guys from SEO Rockstars have given me so much great content and ideas, I can’t stress enough how valuable WMR has been for up to the minute info and techniques. (also appreciate your no bullshit approach)
We don’t have many SEO get togethers here in OZ so WMR and lots and lots of feeds is the next best thing.
Hooroo from down under.

Been reading your crap ;-) since about 12/2004 according to my first post here anyways (but really since 01 at wmw).
You’re probably one of the 20 or so whose words I take at face value most of the time. Thanks for keeping things interesting.
Hi Dave! Jim from New York. I come here for doses of English humor and cursing…and to look at the darker side ;)
I’m Shawn… from California (San Diego specifically), and I don’t really do much of anything to be honest. Still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
Hi, I’m mad4 from the DP forums and grew up in Harrogate just down the road from you. Even went to Ripon races last night!

And Shawn is a developer for sure, with accent on search engine gadgets.
I work “voodoo magic” on corporate Australia, specifically classifieds.
Been following you around the web since SEW. Because you were a SEW mod I once mistakenly thought you were a nice little white-hat.
I’m in Seattle and New York and I have a bunch o’ websites. I have one suggestion - can you be more direct? :-)
i’m just bored. if i’m reading here, you know i’m putting off something i should be doing.
I found you via Matt Cutts mentioning you with a Seinfeldian “Neuman”ish tone which let me know that I had to seek out your knowledge, though I am still digging around for any instances of you spilling it. Feel free to help me out in that search… lead me to the fountain!
I’m Matt Cutts therapist, just trying to understoord why you have made him the way he is. Most disturbing case yet.Bad dave…..
Hi my name is Gokhan. I am from Turkey. I have been trying to make websites. I make and I change then I make again. This way I am trying to make 2 websites for five years. They are the most loser sites of the world but I have learned some webstuff in the five years. But since I have started to read your blog. I think I have learned more than I learned in the past 5 years. In Turkey there is no concept like SEO.
Thank you for your blog
Gokhan
I’m Knox in Denver Colorado. I’m a webmasterradio.fm faithful.
Yes, I am the worst web designer in Shropshire… because I am honest with my clients about SEO techniques. I need a doctor!
My part time hobbies include:
1. Flaming SEO companies who ring us up
2. Sticking pins in an effigy of Matt Cutts
3. Educating clients in the art of black-hat SEO
Yeah, it’s fun, but I’ve been doing this for nearly 20 years and all of a sudden every man and his monkey are SEO ‘experts’. I still can’t wait to see how hard it will be to get the new XXX domains a good SER. This is the biggest challenge yet… :O)
