Well time will tell…. If you are in the UK you can guess what just aired on the BBC.. and yes the last couple on Dragon’s Den got the £200,000 investment. The website was built and hosted by my guys.

I have to be honest we had some slow down on the server in the last 5 minutes of the show, but nothing the New server that the Ben and Chris worked on all day couldn’t handle and managed to hold up.. well done guys.

The new design is in place on the holding site so well done Kean.. i will update this post over the next few days and weeks as to what the investment brings.

updated :

The sites have just redesigned you look and feel on online bingo alerts

I was surprised to see them on there. I’ve spoke with Emmie in the past via email – when you said they were you’re clients earlier, I hadn’t twigged it was Gaming Alerts that would be on. I have to say I was a little disappointed that they didn’t really go into what they were planning on spending the money on – it was also surprising to see Bannatyne sort of questioning the success of online bingo given his Casino background. Good show though, and well done to the pair.

It’s not the first time the Dragon’s have backed gaming affiliates either – a few series back the bankrolled a guy who set up a pub poker league and web site. Part of the deal was the fact he got referral fees via the website.

Good job Dave and congratulations – I watched the show and wondered if you guys had a hand in that one following on from your earlier post. I thought it was more likely than the Youdou dolls ;-)

Looking at their site i’m guessing you not supplying them with seo advice. Why are they splitting their product across 5 different websites, it makes no sense to me.

stu I work on one product, the reason for 5 sites, is that has the operation expands the teams that runs bookie or casino will get their own budgets and have the ability to promote themselves.

yer Jackmedialondon isn’t anything to do with me :)

I saw the show and wasn’t particulary enthused with the concept and was a little suprised Theo gambled on the 200K without a real site review…

Then I checked the site this morning, saw the Bronco badge and changed my mind a little. ;)

For me I tried to get to bingoalerts.co.uk after the show and it just timed out on me for several minutes.

Was great to see the effect though :)

I recognised them from a post on your blog a while back.

Which coding muppet has put paragraph tags INSIDE the heading tags on that site?

No can do. BOTH are block elements. It’s one or the other; never both.

    OK. That explains things.

Even though I reckon I am a good coder I always wave a few sample pages at the W3C HTML and CSS Validators before going live with a site.

I always find at least one brain fart. :-)

    Dave,

Congrats on the site & success – very interested to hear how it goes. Work on some sites page 1 for high traffic betting related phrases all WH :) (affiliate) and nowhere near the figures that Emmie was mentioning on the show. Will be looking out for it! Personally think Theo may have taken a bit of a flyer at the mo.

It would be interesting to pit this against “the Digg Factor” and see if TV or Digg actually gets you more internet links. Something tells me that Digg might actually bring more traffic in, for the simply reason that people are already on the internet and so might think to themselves “oh well, one click to open a new tab won’t hurt to take a quick look” whereas with TV they have to log on. Something to think about for those developing TV/Computer hybrids.
