Holy crap. There’s gotta be a way to make it even shakier…like with skinnier wheels or putting some sandbags on the roof. Then it’s ready for the gumball.

I had a VW camper (without the pop-up roof, though) in the 70’s, Dave. Top speed was 60mph on flat land. Hell, I had to draft 18-wheelers to get down I-95.

OMG, I have been dying to do the Gumball. Trying to save for my house here in SF, killed my budget.

Dave, those mercs are just too heavy!

I’ve seen a few of those camper vans “souped up” with chevy blocks in them. They are quite impressive, but, you can’t get much else in them with that chevvy block, and they are damn loud on the inside and out!
