So the Redmond boys announced it has acquired Teleo Inc., Microsoft’s Buy or Build policy seems more like a BUY BUY BUY policy these days, Personally I would have thought that SKYPE would have been their primary target, But Teleo’s technology is heavily focused on making calls from the PC to a landline telephone, a feature that Microsoft said would start finding its way into MSN Messenger before the end of 2005.

So we have AIM, Y! Messenger, Gtalk and MSN Messenger, the big 4 in the instant messenger market place, my money is that MSN will win out on this, I mean MSN Messenger 7, already has the ability to start Video Conversation, which I have used in the past but integrate a true VoIP to Landline, I could almost dump my Telephone all together.
