Viral Marketing - Catching a Cold ?

How to propagate a marketing message about your services in a really competitive industry ?

Well, I think the key here is to be unique, yet at the same time you really don’t want to re-invent the wheel.  The root success of any viral campaign is  concept creation, the idea, that certain spark which should inspire and reward you with a highly effective campaign.

Matt Cutts talked about the differences of  “link baiting” from “viral marketing”— is there any? Yes, there has to be. A viral campaign should ideally keep going much longer, not just cease because people loose interest. The initial idea should inject so much enthusiasm that it propels people into not only thinking about your message but acting on it too.

An effective Viral Marketing Campaign could bring much more traffic than any SEO could ever hope for. Any thoughts on how to make your honey pot ultra sticky and ever flowing  ??
