Checkout your followers on Twitter, I was checking out Kevin Rose on Twitter http://twitter.com/kevinrose/following

and I noticed that we have some new Ajax features,

you can easily switch the list to an expanded view which includes the persons last tweet, real name and location

If you are following the same people you can send a direct message or unfollow .. so I could send a message to Matt Cutts since I follow him as well as Kevin Rose.

Seeing their bio would be more useful than last tweet I think …

I like the fact that Twitter finally updated the interface. Just in time to compete with YouTube and Facebook new interface updates!

It’s very nice apart from the fact it was broken the other day :( Seems to be working now though and making Twitter a bit more accessible to the none geek crowd.

I agree with Malcolm, seeing a Bio would be handy.

Social networking is developing at dramatic speed these days. New functions keep being introduced into the market place. For many web-based business, more and more media need to be taken into consideration when making online marketing strategy.

Twitter is not going to last. There are more followers and so few content producers. 75% of the people (or whatever the number is) drop out after signing-up. Right now it is a fad but I can see it dying quickly while social networking sites like Facebook which are really sticky will continue to thrive.
