Welcome to the Social Networking Site that will have you hooked…

Now how can I describe it…
It’s a bit like Myspace/Faceparty but with more privacy and a dating slant. It’s all very simple. Log in and “tick” someone you like the look of. They won’t know you’ve ticked them unless they tick you back and you get a mutual tick! Cut out all the nonsense and be sure that the people you’re communicating with are on the same wavelength. How refreshing!

Tick Me is not just for dating. You can also make friends, build social groups and improve on your tickability! Check out the Tick League to see who is Top of the Ticks.

I have my own profile set up so come and tick me ..

TickMe Banner

And Join the World of Search Group ;)

TickMe Banner

…and it’s on Digg now!

OK ..

The way I see the Ticks is…

a) Hey = Like Hi…mates/friends that what’s why I ticked Shoemoney, That way I can send messages if he ticks me back
b) Looking Good = Looking Good kinda like a Hot Chick Mate :)
c) Hot Stuff = lets get dirty lol :)

nice idea, and a small point but I hate the green, you should do an msn.com and allow people to change the colors, added bonus you will get to see if others dislike ‘luminous green’

Dave, Tick Me needs a “Buy Dave a Drink” feature.

Since your launching with a US domain, maybe a globalization team to handle the linguistics… “Tick Me” doesn’t exactly translate the way you want.

A “remember me” option would be nice. If you tick someone and view one of their pictures and go back you get the postdata warning.

    Good work dave and team

Can’t wait till it has 20 Million users so that I can spam the hell out of it! I can see a dozen great ways already. If you start getting messages saying ‘I think you are cute too’ from a chesty blonde and she suggest that you check out her profile on this other “Free*” dating site… Ignore her – that’s just me.

Not so sure I like the idea of not knowing someone has ticked you. Maybe some kind of anonymous note is sent with pieces of the persons profile to decide if you want to tick them back. Otherwise, you’ll have freaks like me going around ticking everyone until they find a mutual tick :)

What! No HTML in the profiles… Javascript on the website links. No way to send messages to people who have never heard of you. This site sucks – I’m going back to mySpace…

Okay Dave, I’m trying to fill out this profile thing to sign up and I’m super confused about the “Body Type” options here. I can extrapolate the intent of “Round and Proud”, “Big Boned”, “J-Lo Booty”, and “Lara Croft”, but “Average” is a tad vague and I completely have no idea what “Legs 11″ is supposed to be. Is it a nod to Spinal Tap and their custom made amp? Also, and not that I qualify for it, but why are you dissing the SuperModels amongst us? There’s no option for “Disappears when viewed in profile” or “Blows away in a strong breeze”.

Any clarification or help is appreciated!

Hey DaveN, one thing I noticed is that once you’ve gotten that mutual tick, there “novelty” wears off. There should be some way of continuing the tick trend beyond.

    Dave,
    great site!

We need some kinda forum/BBS type features as an option to the IRC-type chat.

i’ve got hundreds of members in the various groups I’ve spawned during the launch, but no easy way to talk to them…

even a circa 1997 ‘guestbook would allow for communication one grade lower than real-time chat.

    cheers!
