If you’ve not heard yet, Max Clifford has been arrested today, the news broke about an hour ago, but just check out how fast the top 3 pages on Google have been indexed.
This just goes to show the power of Google when it comes to indexing news and how they can switch the whole search results within minutes of a story breaking. Very impressive!

Hi David,
I’ve noticed this recently with some blog posts that we made on our company website. Within 10 minutes of posting it was already indexed and ranking top for the title of the blog.
The speed at which Google gets new posts is impressive. The RSS feed will no doubt be helping with this but the speed they found it when our blog system, to my knowledge, doesn’t ping them to say there is new content is definitely impressive indeed. We did share via social sites as well so no doubt this would have sped up the discovery process too.

http://www.lotusmarketing.caI have noticed that Google is sometime crazy fast at indexing new content. We had our new blog articles index within minutes for a couple of months, then we are indexed after a couple of days.
Google seems to be playing with the indexing rate. But yeah, they are doing a great job at it.
