My mum runs a small hotel and restaurant located in the centre of Ripon, right opposite the Cathedral. It’s a beautiful location and the hotel itself is very charming. Bronco are regular customers and have taken many friends and clients there over the years.

Dave and Becky very kindly offered to re-design the Old Deanery website – and today it went live. For those of you that have seen the old site, I think you will agree that it is a massive improvement on the old site, it looks better, it runs better and it’s definitely setup for ranking for its key search terms.

I’ve already got Google Analytics on it and a Google Webmaster Tools account, and they are also running AdWords campaigns too. But the main thing I am setting up and hoping to have a play with over the coming months is Google Website Optimizer. I’m hoping to split test almost EVERYTHING – especially the copy, most people stick to the menu buttons etc. but I really want to have a play around and see how good I can get at copywriting.

It’s not just the website that has had a massive improvement – allround the service, the look and feel of the place has improved. I wish we could get Paddy Burt back to review it again, I’m sure she would be even more pleased!
