When Spotify announced deals with Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, EMI Music, Warner Music Group, Merlin and The Orchard for their content to be included in their service well I for one was very happy.
so what is Spotify ? to me it’s a cross between iTunes and file sharing offering instant access to music and I mean INSTANT, I was impressed I went out and bought another Bose Ipod docking station but this one had the Auxiliary input for use with other sound sources mainly my laptop 
The user interface is truly awesome, search by word, artist or album and within seconds you have found monster list of records to choose from and a quick click you can create a new play list or simply add a another song to existing play list, iTunes Killer maybe, but i haven’t used my iPod since getting this service and my cat loves it !
so give me a reason to send you an invite I only have a couple and this service is European only really

I think I may sign up and see what it is like. I have been using last fm a lot recently and also grooveshark.
It sounds very similar to Grooveshark though, you basically search for what you want then listen to it. Though I did find Grooveshark was limited for the tracks, if I searched for an album it may only have a few of the tracks from it.
If spotify is good it is well worth £10 a month. I try and avoid having to go out on meetings and all that malarky so I tend to listen to my music 8-5 Moday-Friday which would make a tenner a bargain!

Instructions to get Spotify outside of the U.S.:
1. Get/install Firefox (mozilla.com)
2. Get/install FoxyProxy Add-On, restart Firefox
3. Pick out a European Proxy server from here: http://www.publicproxyservers.com/page1.html, or be lazy and try the one I found to work: 89.234.27.15 port 80
4. Tools -> FoxyProxy -> Options
5. Add New Proxy
6. Add name of your choice, and notes if you wish
7. Proxy Settings Tab, select Manual Config, paste IP and port 80
