As we all get prepared for the Christmas break, here we're looking forward to the start of the conference season in 2012.

The first conference of the year for me is the London Affiliate Conference (LAC) which will be held on 26th – 29th January, at the Old Billingsgate Market. This is always a great conference to attend aimed at the online gaming sector, and is also the only one that is free for affiliates to attend who are always well looked after.

I have 2 speaking sessions, both on Day 3, Saturday 28th January.

14.00 – 15.00 The Future of SEO: How to Conquer Panda

This will be a panel discussion where I will be joined by Jane Copeland, Dave Snyder and Judith Lewis where we will be discussing the SEO techniques that site owners really need to be implementing to be able to beat Panda. Gone are the days of being able to quickly get a site live with lots of pages of weak or spun content, chuck in a few links, add lots of affiliate banners and watch it rank – you now have to fulfil Google's need for quality content and good user experience (while still trying to monetarise)

15.00 – 15.45 Ask the SEO Expert with Dave Naylor

This is the opportunity to come along and ask me any SEO related questions that you may have about your site or your SEO techniques, and I will aim to give you a helpful answer. This is a pure audience participation session so come along and be brave, as you will find that there will be plenty of people in the audience who want to know the same things. If you don't want to be the one holding the mic then perhaps add your question to the comments below, or tweet me with your questions with the tag #LACAskTheExpert. This aims to be an informative session for all skill levels in SEO to come along and listen in for some useful tips.
