Are we starting to see Google turn the screw of “we don’t like you” on blogs? For many months rumours had been flying around that Google was going to purge a lot of blogs, at the beginning of last week I noticed that some of my pages were not getting indexed like they normally would.

I knew we had done some backroom work on the blog so I checked webmastertools to see what errors it had turned up, and noticed some general errors. Today we have spent most of the day tracking and Greping logs files and server files to find these errors, but really haven’t turned up anything. Other than we are fine in Google’s Blogsearch and Dead in Google Organic? Of course I have had a few emails from people offering me advice lol.

Most people now think that DavidNaylor is banned in Google or at least under a penalty. This doesn’t sit right with me as most people are saying I have either gained too many links over the past month due to the Google and Twitter debate, others feel it’s because of the NON seo posts on a seo blog which again I feel incorrect and I have cited each time, most of the links gained Via the Google and Twitter thing Matt Cutts gained them as well. For off topic posts I pointed out Matt Cutts ranks for Seo Blogs, but his last posts have been :

I also pointed out in the emails, that if Google is banning me because I SPOKE OUT on certain topics, wouldn’t that be Web Censorship? I understand what Spamdexing is and I understand the T’s and C’s at Google. Anyway I have pulled a few Posts and I’m going to put the Blog on Moderation and pull the full RSS feeds, until I can get to the root of this.

Or get some seo advice grrr … So I decide to upgrade my IE8 to version 2, note I call it IE8 and not  Internet explorer 8, so off I go to http://www.live.com actually you are going to see my searching habits when in consumer mode and not SEO mode :)

1) open IE8 beta with Live toolbar installed

2) search in toolbar for ie8 version 2

3)  look at first page results :

4) shake head… ( I still have my relevancy T-shirt .. hoping to wear for SMX London 

5) search Google in live toolbar ( lets the live team know I was unhappy grrr )

6) search google for  :

7) download IE8 Version 2 beta for Number 1 position in Google shakes head again ( hat tip to Google for been Relevant )

8) starts reading emails and open Firefox to start SEO Browsing

Ok after searching and searching is there anything out there that can add toolbars or Addons on to Chrome, can anyone point me in the right redirect..

I want :

a Stumble Upon toolbar for Chrome
a Alexa toolbar for Chrome
a Google Toolbar would be nice even..

or just a Greasemonkey Plugin ???

The Crap Points :

1) It’s just a front-end to WebKit with all the cool bits pulled
2) Where are my Plugins
3) Privacy policy and default install scare me a little, if people think Mozilla is bad ho hum

The Awesome points:

1) It’s Fast, but then Firefox is fast when you first install it slows down with the more plugins you NEED
2) It’s create Application is awesome and that alone will be the reason I use it, but not has a browser so work?
3) Supports Flash and Java on install at least the current versions couldn’t find how to update flash thou ?

So Google Chrome a Firefox replacement it isn’t. Nobody is going to use chrome has a browser it’s just not finished, I feel that Google where pressured into releasing a half baked product because IE8 Version 2 was realesed 3 days ago, I do feel that the core engine is very very good and If Mozilla or IE can expand on it cool.. I believe that pictures paint a 1000 words so
