Seo Mistakes

To me the biggest mistake an SEO company can make is linking back to themselves with or without hidden links.. But almost as bad is using “seo” for the folder you are going to start your work flow in..

OK lets Play…….

Do you see this as an error of ethics, a behavioral gaff, or a rankings killer?

I think it’s more sends a signal “well lets take a closer look” , healthexpress are spamming, currys are not they using static pages because they can’t get their data indexed.

Yeah, I think that sites are spamming but i think all sites does by creating number of pages like firstmed or Ukmedix ( lol ) i think you must be knowing about Ukmedix more than me how do they spam.

Just to make things right to balance the order of the world I hope currys and dixons if they have any issues get dealt with there version of customer service and response

e.g. some college student looking at the calender going “you should have looked at the small print your service is bought and well its now XXX date

Seeing the crap i have bought from both places which has had problems there is some justice in the world, I might be biased as I have numerous reasons to burn both places to the ground (by word so far only:) with oil price rises not sure if I could afford the petrol :) )

    Haha, good one Dave.

I went to a SEM/SEO seminar today and a major Danish telco gave a (good) presentation on how they’re doing their online marketing and SEO/SEM stuff.

However the guy bragged about how they where able to push the primary rankings up by using links (spam) from all the subsites to the primary site.

Me and a bunch of other SEO’s couldn’t help ourselves and had to laugh. The 6-8 Google reps where taking notes ;)

    Oooops!

Is google acting different to websites in different languages????
When i look at the websites in English and Turkish. It is easy to see that Google is acting different to the websites in these two languages. Almost all websites in Turkish that have top rankings on Google pages are breaking all Google rules. (Hidden tables via css, invisible text etc…) but it is not the same for the websites in English which have covers the first pages on Google for related words.

Just a little FYI on Dixons and Currys. Dixons bought Currys back in the late 80’s, so it’s possible they had the same SEO company / fresh faced college graduate come in and work on both.
