Why not provide Title or Header tags? Is it that much work to make a web page somewhat user friendly. After all, the Title tag is what gets put into bookmarks. Header tags are not only used for emphasis to the bots, but also for presentation – why wouldn’t you use them? If you are only doing this for “in theory” reasons, fine. But otherwise you make absolute no sense.

Oh, and good luck when the algorithms change – if you put all your eggs into the “incoming links” basket, what happens when link values are reduced in an algo? You’re dead in the water. Spread your SEO efforts out – use Title and Header tags, authoritative anchor text, good page copy, etc.

It’s folks like you that keep me busy with clients.
