searchenginejournal SEO Clinic

Ok I have Big respect for Loren and Search Engine Journal … but and it’s a big but,,

with site clinic you will get some inside information on the project, and you know I still Can’t Forgive “Garrett French” for what he did to Tim Mayer at a conference, we all knew the subject was off limits and hush hush .. but no he had to stand up and Ask Tim to comment.. and for that alone i think he is a pretty shitty guy.

still I wish Loren the best of Luck.

Thanks Dave, would you like to join in as a Special Guest on occasion?

You know, to help balance out the shit? Ha.

Some great sites have submitted themselves for review.

Dave - you forgave me for being an idiot about posting on private conversations. I don’t know the whole situation with Garret, but it seems unfair to extend that prejudice to Loren and all of SEJ. I don’t know Garret personally, but I know Loren and I’d put my faith in him.

Suggesting that SEJ will leak material about the sites that submit simply because Garret is involved seems massively unfair to me. I think you need to fully explain your issue with Garret (for those of us not around at the time), or give Loren the benefit of the doubt.

There will not be any inside information given to those SEO’s who are participating in the SEO clinic. Instead, it will be a blog-esque version of ‘Pimp My Site’, where sites elect to become part of the Clinic and then our team posts a review of the site, tips on improving their rankings and some specifics of what they can do to better their SEO.

We are not going to have internal access to these sites for this project and if any internal information is given such as desired terms to rank for and access to web stat files and competitive rankings, I will first ask the site for the permission to make such info public.

If they chose not to do so, the information will not be shared with anyone.

Rand, thanks for stepping up. I’m not fully informed on the Garrett and Tim fiasco, but read that they got together and talked about what happened, made their peace, and moved on.

Dave, you’re entitled to your opinion dude and I fully respect your honesty and your “no holding back, grabbing the situation by the nuts and pulling as hard as you can” approach.

    Don’t ever change man!

Garrett’s lack of professionalism goes far beyond the fuck up with Tim. When you call yourself a journalist, you should understand and honor “off-the-record.”
