what the … I hate stuff like this the Ripon Library is Now the “Ripon Library and Community Resource Centre”
and we used to have Senior Library Assistant and Librarians now we have..
Community and Information Assistant in Charge” and the librarians are no longer called librarians but “Community and Information Officers”.

Yep bring back the librarians. Political correctness gone mad again.
My brother used to work in a library, but only on alternate Saturday mornings. One of the perks of the jobs was being able to take out loads of CDs & videos. He always managed to get through quite a lot of blank tapes before taking the items back!
