Not a happy day where I live in Ripon. It has rained solidly here for about 2 days and last night it was really heavy persistant rain. This morning the rivers burst their banks, and we have just been told that we may have to empty the car park and sandbag the doors at the office. Personally I don’t think it will reach us, But I used Msn Live Maps and over laid the flood water and the red area are my offices :

Aw, man. Wish you could 302 the rain over here to Mississippi for a bit. We have half normal rainfall for the year so far.

I plan to come up from Devon to Grewelthorpe Friday 27th.July.
My planned route is M5 to Preston then A59 to Ripon.
I can’t find accurate current info on road flooding.
