http://seogadget.co.uk/Haha!
Yes, Dave – Frankly I don’t think any of the SEO terms are worth going for, yet we all, at some point, feel compelled to do it. Can’t explain why…
Thanks for the data though, and see you at SES

http://www.fireflyseo.comThats a very funny post. It never fails to amaze me how little traffic there is in UK specific SERPS. Not boasting, but we used to be #1 for seo england, scotland, wales and most UK towns etc. But we got sweet FA traffic. Saying that, it does help in the sales process, a bit. Or it used to, when I used to sell SEO. Funny post thou

http://www.distilled.co.ukIt might not get you any traffic Dave but how many times have you used it in pitches for clients by saying “look how good we are we rank no 1 for….”

http://designer-watches.orgPity I dont do SEO anymore.
On a serious note Dave, 140 visits looking for that service may have better financial benefits for an independent SEO consultant, vs incidental visits of 25K plus in same time for various other SEO “research” terms.
No?

true but it’s 71,668 other terms lol, and my biggest on conversion are on “dave naylor” and “david naylor” with 2,251 visits

http://www.newdiscountcodes.comI think only UK Seo’s will search for UK SEO in Google. Businesses will search for “how to optimise site for Google” or similar.

http://www.seouniverse.co.ukI think it’s great how perception is so far from reality. Logic would say that UK SEO would be a fair term to rank for so thanks to Dave for pointing out that logic rarely counts for much when it comes to SEO

it uk seo is a buyer keyword, those 31 visits could be valuable and deserve some effort. Even might be worth an adword ad above the #1 organic search result of which today, three are present above the #1.
Of those 3 paid results are there day in day out, I understand the combo:
buyer keyword+#1 result ad = business

That’s probably down to the SEO’s all rank checking it twice a day LOL

^^ You need to normalise AdWords Suggest Exact Match data to get any meaningful organic traffic estimates as they’re way too high from a literal perspective.

How many of you still search for 2 word terms. Most of my searches are 4-5 words atleast.

http://technascent.comi guess its not just about traffic, sometimes ranking for terms like that also means that he is an expert of, perhaps seo in uk?
