Performics Clients under the spotlight

by

So I hear people saying that Performics is the company to get your SEO from hahaha, Really lets look at facts.

1) Google won’t be any time soon giving Performics a heads up on SEO, if they do Performics SEO’s will leave and start up their own SEO companies stating how they were trained By Google or be employed by people like me ! ;)

2) Googles do no evil will almost mean that Performics Clients will get an under the Hud looking at .. hope you guys are whiter than white or kiss good bye to your rankings.

3) you are going to have every SEO watching for Performics clients to make a mistake and break a Google guideline or two and you will be dragged Via the court of threadwatch ;)

4) maybe I should offer a discount to Performics Clients that want to bail.

and a lesson learnt when a client moved to Google to do their adwords it only took 4 months before they where back, roi dropped by 5%

Hardly a surprise. I’ve worked with a couple of decent sized AdWords accounts where keeping the Google teams hands off was one of the major challenges – at least in the UK, the Adwords “optimising” team is rubbish. It’s an entry level position, and it’s members have the experience that implies….

As for Performics, there’s no way they can retain it as an SEO outfit forever. At the very least they have to spin it off and put it at arms length, more likely they will try and sell it as a going concern. The only real question, I suspect is whether they’ll try and bring some of the engineering team in-house first, and if they do, whether they’ll go

…and how unbiased do you think they PPC budget allocation will be across each of the search engines?

Just had a quick look at the site and you have to believe that yahoo will be asking them to remove that “Strategic Partner” logo!
