Online Casino search results

I don’t think I have ever seen the results so bad ever !, If Google hadn’t locked down the top 10 results, I would have thought they had done this to increase the revenues on the newly allowed gambling ads. shame on you Google

    Am I missing something here - not that I’ve ever looked at the term before, but they seem fairly correct (unless I’m getting a weird data centre…) - 888, Get Minted, Paddy Powers?

    Wonder if this is a knock-on from the ‘missing quality data’ event that Matt Cutts cleared up for panicking UK webmasters last week?

    Like Dom, I’m seeing nice clean results (img here). But from the cap it looks pretty appalling lol! We had some funky data were lots of clean stuff was booted out and down the SERPs last week as Google didn’t export all the ’signals of quality’, a lot of sites with lots of links but no additional secret sauce shot up as a result and I’m wondering if this is something to do with that. I’m probably well off there though, just my first thought.

    That SERP is shocking, it’s much worse than Yahoo and Live’s results. I wonder what Google are up to here.

    @DaveN

    The Google Serp link you have in the post changes to the following when I click (from Pakistan):

    http … www . google.com.pk/ search?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&hs=0h4 &q=online+casino&start=10&sa=N
    (I added spaces in some places as the live link seems to be stopping this comment)

    @Dio & @Dom

    Try changing the URL to:

    google. com/ search? q=online+casino&start=10&sa=N (delete the spaces)

    This is the one DaveN seems to be talking about. It has 3 dot EDUs if you want to confirm.

    I am getting the same results as DaveN. Very naughty. As you say dave, to allow new game sites a chance, or to make the big game sites pay for position for a short time!!!

    So your point is that the money is driving the results not the maths?
