Mine is the earlier version and claims to be “up to date” in the about Google Chrome dialogue. All my visitors have been on the earlier version.

The 0.2.151.0 don’t happen to have an internal Google IP do they?

    0.2.149.27
    0.2.151.0

Weird. I’m in the states and seeing 0.2.149.27… a search on 0.2.151.0 seems to indicate that it’s the portable version as is 152. A lot of Chinese results for 152 as well, so maybe it’s a release specific to that area.

Even stranger: my copy of Chrome just finished updating, and the new version is 0.2.149.27 — so there are at least four different versions going around at the moment. I’m from Finland, by the way, but I’m using the UK English version of Chrome.

Uh, correction, I meant that mine is 0.2.149.29, not .27.

I can’t find any “newer” version in my logs…

Perhaps these newer versions are various builds of Chromium, the open source version. They have multiple new builds every day.

    Dave, you Joking?

I see 0.2.149.29 like others and not the one you see, and that too after the update.

The version you are mentioning is the version of portable version.

0.2.149.29 is the version I see too. This version was released 2 days after the initial launch AFAIK.

0.2.149.30 :) I just love how Google takes the diss with dev build numbers. I love the fact that they keep their products in Beta for ages as well.
