    Yeah it looks like this is their approach to universal search. Just
    redirecting as much of their search queries to other sections of Yahoo.

    I actually moved from Google to Yahoo! today. Never thought that day would come.

    if this takes off its really gonna help standardise search queries, making it easier to tailor pages around an exact combo of terms in the correct order. wonder if you can track it?

    direct from search query box:

    using related search terms:
    http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=UTF-8&fr=yfp-t-471&fp_ip=UK&p=cheap+cruises&rs=0&fr2=sg-gac&sado=1

    Yer looks like Yahoo are tooling up to try and dent Google..the upgrade is the biggest change in years.
    Yahoo are going to concentrate more on how you phrase search requests too. Keep you eyes peeled on Yahoo calendar which will link to local events if relevant when you search.

    Hmmm,,, didn’t Microsoft add similar improvements last week??

    First Microsoft, then Yahoo. Wonder if we’ll see the boffins at Google come up with something similar, or even improve on it? Personally, I’ll stick with Google, since I’m comfortable with the current interface. I believe most “man on the street” users probably will remain similarly unaffected…
