    Google announced it via their Inside Search blog yesterday http://j.mp/jPvB9F Seems to be rolling out very quickly! I like the new look, the top bar resembles the WordPress admin bar.

    Seems that they’re testing this stuff out. No one in my office seems to be affected apart from me, too.

    I kind of like the cleaned up left column of the SERP. Not sure about the black top menu though.

    Should be about time they let us customise it :)

    Being on the left I like a lot and also the legibility is much improved from my opinion from the menu being in black and white. On the whole its a slick design

    Notice how the natural results and adwords now look very similar indeed on a lot of searches – I would be willing to bet my penis this new look increases the CTR of their adverts.
