Microsoft Vista DVD half the price in China

What? Half price… I am now wondering if Dave will give me an expenses paid trip to China?

Apparently, due to high level of demand for the operating system there the retail price has been cut by half.

Interesting when the largest counterfeit operation of Vista was in China itself….

Half price as compared to in the US, or half price as compared to what it was selling for previously in China?

And you can use the money you save to buy 8 different kinds of anti-virus, spy-ware and ad-ware protection. Then you can take what is left and pay the phishers not to steal your bank account information. That’s a pretty good deal because online safety is important.

I’ll just keep paying my Apple tax for now.

If there is high demand, why would they reduce the price?

Yep, reduce the price to increase the demand even further, thus selling more and more copies.

Hey Bill with his generosity and non for profit charity work can afford to give a way Windows and it is good PR for Microsoft.

It would be nice if MS can give away its products to individuals and small businesses in developing countries….

Hey maybe one day they will see the light of Good Will.
