Microsoft tell me ain’t so
a sad day …
As of November 15, 2006 Microsoft will no longer accept new sign-ups for select Microsoft Online Small Business Services.
These services, previously marketed under the bCentral™ brand, include Appointment Manager, Banner Network Ads, Commerce Manager, Customer Manager, FastCounter Pro, List Builder, Sales Leads, SharePoint®, Submit it!, Traffic Builder, and Web Hosting Packages.
I’m not the first to post this or the last I guess, so why a Sad Day..
well I’d always say to client go get your quality directory links from a well-trusted directory and a good place to start is Bcentral and Yahoo. So come on Microsoft open up them doors again please ..
and in other news google closed answers ..

If you have existing credits (like you bought a 10pack of listings) you can still add listings. And, from my experience 2 days ago, they got approved in like 10 minutes. So, they’re probably eager to just approve anything to get it done with, fire or reallocate the staff that currently edit the directory, and I’m sure they’ll scrap a shitload of links to the directory so its value as a link and its rankings will drop. Sucks cause we link a lot at those “business card” pages.
