I have been on the I love microsoft for weeks now! I have spoken highly about them on Strikepoint and The Daily Searchcast, but today I went off to try adcenter and got :

Microsoft adCenter does not currently support the web browser you are using. Please sign in using Internet Explorer 6+. More about system requirements

Yeah I got that as well, thought trying again today in Firefox the site loads, but keeps having massive session problems when you try to do anything.

Additionally, even in IE it keeps having problems, especially at the keyword adding stage. As usual, MS are being tits about a simple system.

Have a few sets of ads running, but nothing great coming back from them yet… still, early days.

That sucks :( but it’s Microsoft for you.

Tried it with the user agent switcher and it was indeed broken. How amateurish.

It should be compatible with the older versions of IE because they created it. If they cannot make their own products compatible there is something wrong with Microsoft. Ideally it should be compatible with all browsers.

It bunks out on firefox etc etc. But the REALLY sad thing is that it even bunks out on IE7 BETA!! Last month it would boot you unceremoniously, but now it at least acts like it functions and lets you in. Unfortunately none of the reporting tools function in IE7… Sad, sad, sad

I’ve also been begging them for weeks to let me spend 10k a month on adcenter and upgrade to their premium program, but they are ‘too busy’ to take my money…

Yeah, Nothing unusual. Almost the whole portal makes you switch to IE. Whats even worst is that the page actually isnt compatible w/ FF and others even if you change your User Agent you get errors.

Don’t forget about the IE Tab plug in for FireFox – a slight pain but still avoids booting IE itself.

You always hurt the one you love. MSN loves you, Dave. Did they ever call you, by the way?
