Mahalo.com well Mahalo editors

Danny has a great write up about Mahalo My favourite Danny Quote.

“Humans Are Better” was literally the motto of the Open Directory Project when it launched back in 1998, but that human model hasn’t scaled well. That, along with other human-powered failures, are enough to make Mahalo seem interesting but ultimately not likely to succeed.

And I agree I don’t think Mahalo will succeed reasons.

But a Search Engine Optimiser seems to think a little different HERE .. hehe

a) Automated spiders can collect and collate data very quickly. Take hakia.com or tagjag.com
b) It’s nothing New, but then Calcanis tends to clone anyway, Digg Vs Netscape.. Netscape lost
c) Humans love getting money !! Hint Hint Dmoz editors, Diggers, Netscapers etc etc where there are Humans people like me all usually buying favours ;) hint hint
