London SMX Experience

See Dave Speak SMX London

My first SEO conference and what a rewarding experience. It’s kind of like having an extended family of people who really know the industry. Ok, slight embarrassment on the Women in SEO post as the realisation occurred that I was out numbered. (SEO Chicks Gillian, Jane)

DaveN was not backward in introducing me to the folk "in the know". These people all had one thing in common and that was their level of SEO experience and dedication to sharing valuable information.

Danny Sullivan (Extreme doughnut eater and provider) and Chris Sherman insured the smooth running of an event that is sure to rise in popularity.

I came away from the conference realising just how much effort everyone in the SEO community puts in and shed loads of ideas for new ventures. The main thing I brought away (apart from the hotel soap and shampoo) was that Google is not the only search engine out there. Microsoft Live Search are doing their best to make sure they are on the ball with search and their feature set is becoming more extensive on an almost daily basis.
