During the taping of Wednesday’s show Letterman told the audience that McCain had called him personally to say sorry for not showing up he couldn’t appear because he was going to the airport to get back to Washington. hmmmLetterman found out that McCain was giving Katie Couric just a few blocks away at the CBS News headquarters a last-minute exclusive interviewhere is the Letterman and Mccain video that went out :

Oh and the question about Muslims and US? There are American Muslims living here and are American as any other white American. It appears that you think Muslims can’t be Americans.
I believe you mean the Middle East and the US. But it is this Us versus Them mentality that has caused our country to spiral downward. Do you honestly believe that in this day and age, the US is so special and unique and different from other countries? It is the era of globalization and the sooner you realize it, the better.

Dave Letterman SHOULD appoligize to McCain… He should also be ASHAMED of himself for making comic about last nights NO SHOW of McCain. If I were McCain, I’d NEVER appear on his show… Letterman is a pure ignorant jerk… I don’t think he’s a very good comic as he doesn’t know REAL comedy… Try Red Skelton… If he pushes Obama and votes for him, he doesn’t think much of his SON… Obama states in his book, if he has to choose between the US & the muslins, he WILL COOSE THE MUSLINS… Why doesn’t Letterman push that? Also, I wish when he walks out on the stage, he’d walk normal and not like he’s got a ‘load’ in his pants…
