Joost is Dead

09.06.08

Panic not, our favourite Dutch Wordpress geek is very much still alive and active in the SEO community. So much so in-fact he has made great headway with an all new blog experience. A re-design, a .com move, name change and entire re-direct. Meet Yoast.com.

DaveN first introduced me to Joost de Valk some time ago, I’m really glad he did. A fountain of knowledge on Wordpress and a genuinely nice SEO make this dutch man worth knowing.

We applaud the all new Yoast experience with well thought out homepage, SEO tools and a much cleaner template. Why not get sociable with the Dutch website tweaker ?

David… OMFnG… There’s link bait and then there are heart-stopper headlines. This was the latter for me.

Glad to hear Joost is ok and has simpely moved to a domain us ignorant North Americans can easily pronounce. He is one of the nicest guys in the industry.

    Great looking site Joost!

Glad to hear it’s just a name change. When I first read the headline, I wasn’t sure if you were talking about Joost the SEO or Joost the streaming TV service (was hoping it was the TV service…. lol)

Yoast is a nice update to the site, he writes some amazing plugins and has a great set of tools/tutorials and contributions to the SEO and WordPress communities.

    Keep up the great work!
