Jeremy Zawodny bitching About Slashdot
Jeremy says :
“Big shock, huh? Slashdot, known for their world-class editorial standards, cited the recent BusinessWeek story about Yahoo and decided that I was complaining about Yahoo! supporting adware.”
Ok that’s a fair point if they twisted his words then Slashdot should do something, More qudos to Slashdot : update the story submission takes Jeremy out of context
then Jeremy goes on to say :
“Of course, I wasn’t. Neither site bothered to link to my blog post about it (for fear their readers would form their own opinions, perhaps?)” — You are such a link whore .
Yahoo have had quite a bit of bad press recently and some unfairly imo, but they are big boys and have a great PR department, But Yahoo if you are going to put out spokes people into the big wide world at least make them PRO Yahoo and not PRO themselves … maybe this is why good old Jeremy has been put on a Yahoo Media Training course

Slashdot stories should always be taken with a pinch of salt. Sure, they usually link to genuine news but the user-submitted summaries are nearly always sensationalist. That’s the idea, after all.
