First move to the United States. Yep unlike paypal, Google Checkout you have to be a resident of the United States.. no one wonder Ebay will not accept it .. Ho Hum

but can we trust google, yesterday i would have said yes, today well Jenstar reports how AdSense fails to track conversions for Google Pack referrals, image if that was you google checkout ..lol

    Dave,
this could be a serious fall for Google if things go wrong.
Their brand name is squeaky clean in the eyes of the general public.

How will they feel when the rip off and scam stories start, which they surely will.
They are not used to negative publicity and if they are not going to do their own auctions/marketplace then I wonder whether it is such a good idea

PS: nice to see the blog looking so lively

I do think it’s fair for Checkout to be U.S.-only for now. Better to roll things out slowly than too fast in this case, I’d say.

Matt, It’s Google man. You would think that they can release a product that can be used at least in Europe.

I understand “trial and error”, but you do know that the whole world expected Checkout to be a possible Paypal replacer. It’s not even 5% that.
