So I was asked by my long suffering wife ( Becky ) to get the kids ready to go to the Halloween party at the Out of School Club. Becky told me that the kids were not allowed to wear scary masks that came with the Halloween costumes… to be honest they weren’t that scary..
But wait I had some face paints and tada..
then I was informed that they weren’t allowed to wear the masks due to the younger kids being scared .. they have some 3 year olds at the out of school club ..oops

3 year olds are hardy little things. Mine is very into dinosaurs eating things (me, mostly) and “being dead” especially at bedtime, bathtime etc And, somewhat worryingly, stabbing me with imaginary knives. I’ve bred a hoodie-in-training…
