A little known fact is that on the 4/4/1998 I got married to Becky Naylor and that was same Day of the 1998 Grand National – Earth Summit won.

Becky and I got married in the traditional Old Blacksmiths shop in Gretna Green, we actually got married over the old anvil and Becky was given away by a big burly Scotsman. The ceremony ended 20 minutes before the Grand National so Becky, me and some friends decided to quickly go find a Bookies and get our grand national betting fixes … my best man won and my horse wasn’t even placed and since that day I have never won on the Grand National, so this year I’m going to use the crowdsourcing method.. and you are my crowd so what should I bet on !! winnings get donated to lets shave Tim Nash once we have seen the photos

But alas dear Dave you needed to sponsor to have a say, though actually the full shave might have been preferable!

Hi dave – like the new website. just passing by looking at something else on google.

gloating a bit here but fluked backing Mon Mome at a crazy price on betfair

My 2 year old daughter kept up her record of at least a place every year. i dont know what system she uses …… but im starting to follow it. she also had silver birch which was going like a dream until beaches second time around.

we also had Cerium at 740/1 – came fifth and went round at least half of race with a fracture skull. had the bookies worried for a minute there. the horse is ok i believe.

    all the best
