Google don’t seem to be too affected from the slowing economy with a 17% jump in profits. Advertising it seems goes from strength to strength. Yahoo on the other hand are keeping a closed shop on their success levels.
If Google can really crack the social networking sites profits should be higher (providing they don’t pay too much for C Block)
