Google PaidLinks Data

by

Ok when I wrote earlier this week about Google hitting paid links, I didn’t actually have any Clients that had been hit, lol so I can hear you all say “WTF, how can we believe you dave! ”

remember www.zippy.co.uk also remember I own that ;)

a few facts :

Zippy users don’t get all the data..

Zippy has 4 million urls

Zippy monitors 330,000 keywords

and she has had over 1 million searches done on her ( she zippy is female, women multitask better than men )

also we clickability.co.uk in a private area we also monitor domain and keyword movements..

clickability

I hope this all Makes sense

zippy.co.uk wasn’t working for me when I did a search. I tried a few, including some of the most popular ones, and I just got a page saying related searches and nothing much else.

Thought you’d want to know :)

    There’s SEO and there’s SEO
Why are the words “rocket science” springing suddenly to mind?

Those results are too ambiguous, unless that’s the biggest change in a while.

Statcounter seems to have been hit. Down to pr9 from 10. They openly sell links.

I’ve seen a lot of websites dropping PR by an increment of 1 over the past couple of months. Nothing to worry about here as I’ve not experienced any problems with the magic green bar dropping a bit :p

Having over a year’s tracking stats behind me, I’ve not seen any drops due to paid linking “soft” penalties. None of my clients have been affected either.

Still, if you’re moderate and relevant about how you approach paid linking, this makes things much harder – if not impossible – for Google to detect.

I know if I type “loans” into Google, moneysupermarket.com is #1 and rightfully the most relevant result – regardless of paid links or not.
