Google Breadcrumbs confusing or helpful, I’m not sure yet but in 2nd screen shot below you can make out that the mu.wordpress listing has 2 links the second going to “Your WordPress MU”

I think I prefer seeing the URL rather than the breadcrumb trail. It doesn’t relate to what the user eventually sees in the address bar so I think it might cause more confusion.

I just did the same search and I’m not seeing the breadcrumb in-place of the URL at the moment btw.

Not nice at all. It will confuse non web savvy users. Looks like some sort of virus has taken over the search :-)

What I personally do not like about the breadcrumb is that, if a user clicks on the link on the breadcrumb, they will be going to a page that is not so relevant compared to where the result should be directing them to instead.

Not so user friendly, I’d say…

If the breadcrumb or category is really relevant to what you want, it will give you a big help, most of time, we just click on the title instead of url, so maybe they just want to learn more about it… especially relevant products..
    such as:http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&q=firewire+hard+drive+dock+station&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=
