Google Analytics IQ
Well I took the Google Analytics IQ test this morning after spending all afternoon yesterday revising on the Google Analytics Conversion University site (which I think is ace by the way). I thankfully passed with flying colours
Daniel Mcskelly also passed recently. So we’re would be half way to becoming Google Analytics Authorised Consultants, unfortunately there is loads of criteria to meet so I don’t think I’ll be off to Mountain View just yet
I found the test itself actually reasonably challenging – much harder than the AdWords exam. This might be because I’ve used AdWords a lot more than Analytics though. At the end you get a PDF certificate, but it isn’t like the Google AdWords Professional exam – you don’t get fancy logos or cool presentations to help sell your service.

I found the actual learning centre the most use to be honest – I think the things I learned and the ideas I came up with whilst going through it will be invaluable in the future.

http://www.digimode.co.ukGood Work. But what is the value to these certificates?

Well Keith, I suppose if you are in a company and you want to be a Google Analytics Authorised Consultant and be promoted on a page by Google, as well as have a link from Google – then it is quite useful. Also if you are selling a service which involves using Google Analytics – it would be another selling point you can use…

Congratulations!
I am planning to sit the same exam – was it multi choice or did you have to complete tasks based on a particular website?

It was multiple choice, but if you don’t use Google Analytics a lot, and you don’t use its advanced settings, it is worth using the learning centre beforehand.
