Isn`t something related to where the Google Analytics code is placed ?
It’s bad all over…
This can explain it:

I would like to think so but the code hasn’t moved, and it used to report fine, and for it to happen on 4 sites, on different hosts.. Google has the issues not me

I’ve been seeing the same issue…especially conversion numbers with large differences….
I hear ya Dave - got issues with GA over here too on all my accounts since sat/sun. There’s a post over on the Google Analytics blog says they’ve had problems which should be resolved now (data should gradually be coming back in)
Google Adwords and Adsense are for the birds.
Check out this Website manidatravel.com and vagina tattoo.
They are ranking top for the travel agency Thailand in Google search results.
I reported them to Adam Lasnik to Adwords and nothing is done.
Google just doe not care about its brand. If a Website runs Adwords and Adsense they can get away with murder…
Here is the documentation of the case.

Do not waste money on Adwords most of the clicks are fake by small Website owners who are cheating the business people. Even when you get a click from an ad on a real Website the user leaves in less than 30 seconds.
IMAO Google Quality Guidelines what a joke…
We have used Google Adwords to drive a ton of traffic at very good CPAs. Is there click fraud? I’m sure. But it is still an excellent method for driving traffic quickly.
With Adwords, we have managed to compete in very competitive markets where click fraud is rife and have still managed to convert at very good CPAs. The content network is also a very underutilized traffic source by the majority of online marketers.
Overall, in all the campaigns which we have managed, Adwords drives far more traffic than Yahoo.
In relation to Google Analytics, it does have its issues, but in a direct comparison between Google Analytics and Omniture, there was not much difference at all.
