GoCoffee.co.uk is a specialist supplier of coffee machines in the uk, and 2 days ago I purchased another Jura Coffee machine, due to increase in staff etc, they offer free delivery anywhere in the UK unless you want next day and because I’m at A4u next week we paid the extra for next day delivery… we even called them to make sure ! No coffee machine though.
Why can’t on-line e-commerce companies just do what they say they are going to.

I must be quite lucky when it comes down to buying online. I have had very few bad experiences, granted I am quite selective about who I buy from.
I think the only bad experiences I have had is buying things from eBay and using PayPal, but that’s more of an issue with the w*nkers that sell the occasional things on eBay rather than the shops.13th October 2008 @ 07:48

I’ve had a massive problem with CityLink who are the company Amazon uses to get big parcels delivered. All I can say about these guys is avoid. It took them 5 failed attemps before finally they got there act together. In the end I was actually wondering if they had damaged or lost my parcel and were trying to fob me off until I gave up.

@Owen
Think yourself lucky! When Amazon first started out in the UK, they used to send 2 blokes up to Stoke in small ford escort vans at about 9pm at night. They then drove back down south the same night to their own depot and then the parcels were literally sometimes hand delivered at a HUGE loss to them, but they stuck with it, bless them, and look where they are now.
How do I know this? I used to chuck the (sometimes less than 10!!!!) books/cds in to the back of the escort vans in Stoke!

Hmmmm … still no sign of the coffee machine. The order was placed on the 8th October, expected on the 10th … when I chased it up last week I was told on Friday that it had been despatched and should be here yesterday or today … lets just hope it does turn up today or Dave’s going to get really mad with someone.

I bought a Jura Coffe maker (£799) from GoCoffee in June. I must have phoned them 20 times over the next few weeks. Each time they told me it would be delivered the next week. It never arrived and eventually I got my credit card company to refund me the money as GoCoffee failed to refund my money as they had promised. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING EXPENSIVE FROM THIS COMPANY AND EXPECT IT TO ARRIVE. DO NOT EXPECT A REFUND EITHER

I have to agree with HD- spent three hundred pounds and still no refund or delivery of the item after three months.
Also operating as http://www.ukcoffee.com/ so avoid this too if you don’t want to get your finger’s burnt.
Finally, they keep mentioning “Marc Odley” who will carry out the refund if you manage to get through to them on the phone- at this point you know you’ve been had.27th October 2008 @ 21:29

From then I have called daily to reach this Marc Odeley (supposed to be the manager). He has either lefte the office (Friday at 11 am?), out for lunch or taking the day off. The whole company is a big fraud - STAY AWAY!

I recently considered upgrading from my old fashioned group handle espresso machine and buying a new Jura bean to cup machine after the Christmas period and read some reviews before nearly purchasing the machine through Go Coffee, luckily I did or this could have been me!
I found this website today and called the sales team for advice, they were very knowledgeable and helped steer me in the right direction!
Although I didn’t make the purchase there and then, when I do it will be direct or through one of their official retailers, a list of which can be found on the provided website!
As you can imagine, Go Coffee are not one of these official retailers and strangely enough no longer seem to stock the Jura products. Take from that what you will!
My new problem is which machine to choose?? Any suggestions are more than welcome, I am a serious espresso lover and my wife drinks cappuccino’s
and I want to make sure before I make such a commitment, that I am buying the right machine for me!2nd March 2009 @ 14:10

i would suggest using a company called unocoffee they were fantastic. I got it next day and the over the phone service was fantastic. I would use them for all my coffee needs. Also they lady who runs the company has worked at the Jura importers for the past 7 years so her vast knowledge helped on all my machine queries.

Sourced the machine on another web site it was cheaper and delivered next day. Mark Odley must be laughing all the way to the bank!!! Have after numerous fobbing off calls promised refund.Though i hold out little hope dont buy from them they are ripping honest customers off.

GoCoffe are a bunch of fraudsters. Ordered my coffee machine in December, got fobbed off with
delivery excuses daily. No refund ever received. I then cancelled the order and got it from another supplier who was absolutely brilliant. Why cant this bunch be closed down ?.18th March 2009 @ 12:33

UNBELIEVABLE.
They owe us £350.00
Their phone lines are down.
Their website is not operational.
Does anyone know if they have gone bust?
Marc Odley owns the company. He’s based in bicester. He trades as a nude photographer and he lives at [removed].
He doesnt have the balls to shut his website down - instead he keeps taking innocent peoples money.

I ordered some coffee machine descaler from them, and haven’t recieved it - just sent them an email, and straight away got the following in reply :
“Dear Customer
We regret to announce that GoCoffee Ltd has ceased trading. We are unable to weather the storm of the current economic climate any longer.
GoCoffee Team”
So looks like they’ve disappeared then. Although Companies House doesn’t show them as insolvent, so it could just be that they’ve decided to shut up shop and go home.
Thanks god my order was only worth £13 - suspect I’ll never see that again. Idiots.

It’s official.
Marc Odley has shut up shop and done a runner with the money from outstanding orders. Is anyone else waiting for products from them?
How can we get our money back from them?
I paid them £500 early March and received nothing.
ARGH!
Oxfordshire Trading Standards just told me that their warehouse is empty - they’ve done a runner!

Was planing to use hmcs money claim online , but i am from denmark and not used to your system therefore i could really do with some advice, do i raise my claim against gocoffee ltd or mark odley.? Is it worth raising any claim now when they stopped trading and how can i do it , i would be happy to make a joint complaint just to stop this Mark Odley ripping more custemers off

This seemed on the cards for a while but it’s odd that the website is still running and the are still on Adwords.
At least if you try to buy anything off the site it doesn’t let you and says
“GoCoffee not accepting orders at this time. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. “26th March 2009 @ 21:48

GoCoffee has many more unsatisfied customers. To see all their reviews, have a look at Trustpilot http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.gocoffee.co.uk
Please check out this website when buying online, it’s such an easy way of not getting ripped off in the future.
I hope you all get your money back at one point. Good luck!

FAO niels - don’t bother using HMCS cout service - I have and have got through to the stage where they issue a warrant (by way of a baliff and £100 quid in court fees later) and it can’t be delivered as they are no longer trading from Murdock Rd in Bicester.

I paid nearly 1500 pounds for a machine that just never turned up. They kept promising next day it would arrive. I finally cancelled and have never got a refund. I reported them to oxford council who were aware that they were dodgy. The reckoned it was more incompetence but now it seems to be pure fraud. I asked google to stop carrying the ads from them but they ignored me.

Well there are lots of rumours I am sure, however being diplomatic I have to say I have seen nothing concrete about companies going bust. Good luck to them as its a tuff time for all at the moment.
In regards to excellent service and quick delivery, try the new kids on the block.
This company have become my preffered supplier and has made a name for itself with its speedy delivery. Try http://www.realcoffeemaker.com their making waves people,
I have never used a more user friendly site in my life.

After reading all these comments, I feel really lucky. We had an ongoing saga with Go Coffee to try get our £560 back for about 6 months. Like everyone else we phoned loads, sent e-mails but nothing. We eventually used the online court service and guess what … we eventually got back £800 from them. So everybody owing money, don’t give up, it can be done

FAO Peter Arnold Parkes.
Go Coffee have gone bust - its not a rumour. They went into liquidation on 17th Aprila and if you call the Insolvency service they will give you the name of the liquidators. I do genuinely sorry for companies facing a tuff time in the present climate, but feel differently about companies deliberately taking money from you when they have no intention of supplying. There’s a big difference.FAO Tudor
I too saw that the “New improved” Go Coffee site is back again - shisters. No doubt more poor unsuspecting people will have their money “relieved” from them.11th June 2009 @ 11:14

FAO Kathy & Daz - when did you start you court claim?? and when did you get your money?? I started one end of Feb which went right through to May after following all of the correct procedures, only for the warrant to be denied as they were no longer at their trading address. Did you use the Murdoch Rd, Bicester address??
On a happier note, I have today , received my sparkly new ENA 5 direct from Jura Delaers who have been fantastic. If you have been shafted by Go Coffee, contact them and let them know and they may honour the pre-discount price that you ordered at if you can prove your order.
I am now officially happy, although its taken me 6.5 months to get to this stage.

To spurslass, it was about August 2008 we started our claim and yes we used the Murdoch Rd address. I think we were one of the first to sue them so we were really lucky, but everything went really smoothly and like I said we got our money back plus all the costs

Or any other company for that matter.
Did you ring yesterday or today to ask why they hadn’t delivered?
