Google Hijacks are back not only the 301 but the 302 hijack, frickin awesome hey..
This started a few Months ago, I was looking at integrating www.v10.co.uk which can handle 301 and 302 redirection tracking into MOOPand I noticed this Search term you can see the V10 link which is 302 redirect so that I not passing linkage.
then later today I was looking to see if this Gala Bingo Review was ranking I noticed this :
you notice the www.theukhighstreet.com/Gala-Bingo_J3473 well guess what it’s 302 :
Ok that the 302 hijacks, I’m trying to get permission on the 301 at the moment it’s a bit of a delicate subject..

I’m sure the hijack party will end at some point!

That’s naughty, and it’s an affiliate link too. Having sat in position 4 for Gala Bingo in the distant past, that’s a pretty lucrative spot to be in.

Talking of onlinebingoalerts - what happened to the old domains? I’d noticed they were out of the bingo SERPs a couple of weeks ago, the old bingoalerts domains seemed to have a bit of a penalty on it? Were some Google filters tripped somewhere down the line?12th May 2008 @ 18:26

I agree with Joost. I have seen this in a few places now here in the US and this has been for quite some time.
It doesn’t work for a long period of time, but turning a 302 on and off seems to confuse Google and gives the results you see.

Have they ever been gone? They weren’t as ubiquitous at some point, but I’ve ALWAYS seen them in the Dutch SERPs…
