OK which Firefox plugins have you found that don’t work with the new Firefox ? Personally, I think the new version looks pretty good, but already people are talking about its flaws regarding plug-ins. What about page speed is it faster / slower ?
I’ve experienced some issues on secure connection failure with Firefox 3 but nothing major.
My download worked straight away on the release date but many were disappointed at the lack of access to the new software. In conclusion should we not be applauding such open browser development?

Firebug doesn’t work! Live Pagerank doesn’t work either but not too fussed about that one lol
Someone telled me, firebug works well with FF 3?
You have to go to the add ons section of the Mozilla website to get Firebug, Firefox’s auto find updates doesn’t seem to find it.
Firebug works, you just need the new version, which is kinda of hard to find. It’s version 1.2

I have no idea, but FF is crashing on me about 30-40 times every single day. Not cool. I don’t think it’s plugin specific, though. I have the latest versions of everything, and I’m upset that Permatab isn’t yet supported. That’s all. Rant over. :)
Firebug had to be updated manually. FireCookie doesn’t work I’ve found. Neither does the Aptana Javascript Debugger add-in.
I don’t notice a speed improvement/hit in rendering, but I’ve not tested, only just use. What I’ve noticed is the memory usage isn’t nearly as high. It wasn’t uncommon for me to be in the 220-245 meg range in Firefox 2, but with Firefox three I’m staying under 180, and it will occasionally go down after a while. :)
I too have FF3 crashing constantly through the day. What a pain. I have disabled all plugins and it still happens. Very disappointed and not sure if I can downgrade but about to attempt it.
FF3 on non-critical XP laptop doing fine. I have not noticed a speed improvement/hit in rendering, either. No important plugins lost, but then I swore off pimping out FF some time back. Web-developer, no-script and some bookmarklets seem to have ported over OK.
I’m quite thrilled with FF3. A few plug-ins don’t work, but the increased speed is quite phenomenal.
Roboform and Typo3 Backend doesn’t work
btw, Mozilla is working with me on my issue and says it’s Javascript/graphics driver related. At least it’s not the addons :D
Remember, if a plugin’s not working it’s not really Mozilla’s fault - plugin authors have known for ages about the release of FF3.
For me I miss ColorZilla and a WHOIS lookup pluging. Such a simple life I lead!
For Whois lookup, would ShowIP do what you want?
I haven’t tested it with FF3.
I’m not having much luck with the Google Toolbar. As for WHOIS lookups, I just use the command line.
I hated Safari’s look, so I went back to Firefox. Firefox 3 looks just like Safari! Yet, I found a theme that made 3 look like 2. Sometimes I wish developers would just not ‘fix’ something that already works well. If it works, why fix it!!!??? I’ve come to loath “upgrades” and “updates,” unless they about system security,
