Fantasic food, fine wine and great service!

Its one of my regular haunts for a superb dinner in Ripon. I’ve had dinner with lots of people there from Patrick from Blogstorm, great Bronco staff nights out, Adam from Fresh Egg, various good old SEO chums like Gimpy, Doug, NFFC, Thomas, Callum, and many clients over the years, I love the place.

Anyway I’m in a bit of a “its good to meet new and interesting people” phase, or even “its about time I got to know someone better” phase or “give a little love if you follow me on twitter” phase … so me & Becky are going for dinner on Friday, and it’s not like we wouldn’t like spending the evening together over a romantic candlelit dinner .. but we both love talking SEO and new challenges (thats what comes from living and working together)

Anyway do you want to come? … short notice but lets see what we can sort out. Oh one criteria .. you have to have a sense of humour.

On top of my list for dinner is Dave “we are Daves” Snyder but will have to wait for SES!

    Anyone else get the feeling that Dave’s open invitation could really backfire on Dave and he may end up paying for dinner for around 1,000 people? Good for us I suppose :)

    @David Whitehouse – he didn’t say he was paying – what’s to make you think that he’s not struck a deal with the restaurant to get cash back for each person he brings along ;-)

    @Ian – maybe because he’s very likely the owner/an employee? ;-)

    @Ian Good point – LOL, commission based meals – not a bad idea :)

    @brewgin your dead right, its my mum’s restaurant, Dave’s been giving me some pointers on how to improve its online presence (hence the link to the Deanery)

    would certainly make a change from Chicken Dippers – can we come along and just listen and laugh in appropriate (or, even, inappropriate) moments? and for those ‘birds’ interested in SEO, can we bring blokes?

    If I leave now I should be there for 10pm tonight! :) Dave, don’t spill your wine… The Old Deanery is a fantastic restaurant and i would also recommend anyone to stay there and take advantage of the hotel.
