“comparison sites” the new espotting ?
Ok I know that the new people around will say .. comparison sites and espotting.. wtf you on Dave,
Well if you spin your mind back a few years serps like Dvd players would have been filled is Espotting Affiliates results, now we have the comparison sites, and I’m kinda getting a bit sick of them.., Rule of thumb is if I’m getting Sick… chances are someone in the Plex is getting sick too … lol
Ok hands Up I have a comparison site in production as we speak .. look cheap prices on ipod lol..
so it’s just a heads up , I think last time this happened we saw a massive purge in Google .. I think the wave is coming for the “comparison sites”, so buckle down

http://www.joostdevalk.nl/blog/They’re getting very annoying indeed, even a small country like the Netherlands has like 8 or 10 of them…

Personally, i love ‘em. I’ve never followed a link on one, but I do use to make sure I have found the best deal

Mmm Joost de Valk, since you are working for onetomarket I see no reason for you complaining about pricecomparison sites since one of the biggest in the netherlands is a client of your company….

http://www.joostdevalk.nl/blog/Joyce: 1. my opinions are my own, and not my company’s
2: there is a market for only a few of these sites per country, they DO offer a service that people like, it’s just not very useful to have a SERP with 8 of these sites showing up. The one that is my companies client is IMHO a very good one, and should show up in the SERPs, but I do think Google shouldn’t be showing 8 different comparison sites in the SERPs for long tail terms.
