Google KILLS Vanessa Fox

actually I’m ok with this one, I’m a big Vanessa Fan ( Webmastercentral ), and recently we were joking about vanessafox.com ( nsfw kinda ) ranking #1 for vanessa fox.

well a few days ago it disappeared altogether… sounds like a Scooby Doo mystery to me..

so if it wasn’t for those pesky kids google could have gotten away with it..
so did google:-

Hand edit vanessa fox serps
or
Could it be that they found out that it was an expired domain with a common holding page script on it .. could be ( hongkong phooney style )

so the lesson here is how do you handle a great domain that was vanessafox.com .. me I would have just transfer it to Vanessa, like mattcutts.co.uk or timmayer.co.uk

hint : let sleeping dogs lie ;)
Added hey Vanessa I’m trying to stop ranking for your name plus a another keyword :)

looks like a parked domain to me. its template is easy to track:

    http://www.google.com/search?&q=intitle%3A%22search+results%22+%22Welcome+to%22+%22sponsored+listings%22+%22+Sample+Pics%22+%22Related+Searches%22

they’ll all disappear, eventually. some are just quicker to fade away ;)

Now you’re just trying to to rank for my name instead, huh? ;)

I should start a web site and race you.

Oh Oh, you heard it hear first, the Vanessa Fox SEO contest was just born. Dave’s got the heads up, but Vanessa’s got access to the secret sauce, this should be interesting.

No contest. Dave’s got lots of links to 301 around, plenty of authority and is among the best SEOs in the business.

Lots of link authority and practice playing with SEO beats access to the secret sauce…assuming that Vanessa even has “access” to something. Assume Google holds these things pretty tight. This isn’t a cake recipe, after all and there are very few secret ingredients.

Of course, Matt Cutts could step in with a little link bait and win without trying, since he has tons of authority on his blog and masses of cutlets who will link to whatever he posts.

I was pretty much kidding, as I thought Vanessa was as well. I’d imagine they both have more important things to do, I obviously don’t :)

On google.co.uk it’s fifth at the moment. You need to push it down some. Try Vanessa Fox clothed and see how you get on!
