Matt Cutts to leave Google ?

Reading between the lines and maybe I’m off a little, but when Matt say’s things like :

I love working at Google, but at some point my wife is going to wake up and smell the coffee. She’ll say “Hey, we agreed we’d try this Google thing for four or five years, and then I’d get to pick what to do next. It’s been like eight years now! When do we move on to our next adventure?”

My Gut feeling is Matt is looking at letting all the little Cuttlets down gently, Matt what ever you choose I wish you luck, And my offer to come to the Darkside is always open lol :)

so my money is on Matt funding some open source project ;)

    Matt will be joing seoidiot.com in the second qtr of this year as search consultant, I didnt want to announce it but hey its old news now.

    I have bought in a pallet of sprite and some new black notebooks for his arrival.

    seeing as this is a Matt Cutts thread, I’ll go completely off topic - a la the Cuttlets !

    What do you do on TickMe when you received no email after joining therefore could not confirm the account. I obviously cannot log in.
    Just tried to rejoin but the ‘name is already in use’
    Tried resend password etc
    My user name is the same as this post but the above email address is not the same. I joined, or tried to, more or less when you launched if that helps

    The email ad’ I used works as I have today had an email from tickme

    Phew ! how do these cuttlets keep this long, boring, off topic crap going day in day out

    Matt’s blog has always helped me keep a track of Google’s official word and clear ambiguities! Most of all will keep learning from him where ever he moves, if he does!
